Besides weddings, I LOVE photographing children. The joy – the tears – the 3 second rebound, then back to joy. All of it is fun to watch and try to capture. Recently, I had a small photshoot on a quiet little east side beach with siblings Jack and Hudson. With a tire swing and the beach as their playground, I sat back and tried to enjoyed the magic of them at play.

One of our favorite wedding couples welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world right before mother’s day. We were able to witness one of her first hours in her new Kailua home and caught a few sleepy time images to share.
